American Idol Odds Season 11

We're down to 13 on the American Idol odds board for Season 11, with Phillip Phillips set as the favorite to take the title at the online sportsbooks.

Phillips is pegged at 7/2 at Bovada on the odds to win American Idol this season, which puts him just ahead of both Shannon Magrane and Colton Dixon - who are each set at 5/1 odds to win the music competition.

Jessica Sanchez (7/1) and Joshua Ledet (9/1) round out the Top 5 at Bovada, followed by each of Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, and Skylar Laine at 10/1 odds.

2012 Oscars Odds

With the Academy Awards coming up on Sunday night The Artist has strengthened its hold on the 2012 Oscars odds to take home the statue for Best Picture.

The Artist now sits as the 1/12 favorite to win Best Picture, up from 2/7 odds at Bovada a month ago. The Descendants has dropped from 7/2 to 10/1 on the list but remains the second-favorite to claim Best Picture, while The Help is now third at 12/1 to win the coveted gold statue on Sunday.

Here are the updated odds to win the 2012 Oscars this weekend at Bovada:

Obama 2012 Election Odds

Thanks to a divisive Republican primary the Democratic Party is now an even bigger favorite at the sportsbooks to win the U.S. presidential election in the fall.

Once at -150 to win this year's election, the Democrats are now the -220 favorites at Bovada, with the Republicans the +200 underdogs.

2012 Grammys Odds

Katy Perry is a nominee, but it's Adele that sits as the favorite on the Grammys odds board at online shops for the music awards show set for February 12.

Adele is the 1/4 favorite at Bovada to win the Album of the Year award for 21, which puts her ahead of Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops and Hooligans (5/1), the Foo Fighters' Wasting Light (7/1), Lady Gaga's Born This Way (10/1), and Rihanna's Loud (15/1).

Season 13 Dancing with the Stars Odds

J.R. Martinez is the favored dancer on the betting lines at the online shops as Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars nears its conclusion. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff sit at 1/2 odds at Bovada to win the title, followed by Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough at 3/1 odds.

Kim Kardashian Betting Props

Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries lasted fewer days than the NBA lockout, and online sportsbooks are now offering prop bets on what the reality television star will do next.

At Bovada you can speculate on the field of work for Kardashian's next love interest, with 'professional athlete' the favorite on that wager at 1/2 odds.

And the trends suggest that's the safest bet for that prop; not only did Kardashian marry NBA player Humphries, but she has also dated NFL players Reggie Bush and Miles Austin in the past.

Americas Got Talent Final Odds Preview

An average of 12 million viewers tune in to watch an episode of America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night’s, and that will certainly provide much action on the betting lines as the show’s Top 10 finalists square off this coming week.

X Game Odds: Skateboard, BMX Betting

The thrill of the X Games returns this week and anywhere there is a thrill, there is probably a betting line to make it even more exciting.
That’s true for the X Games 17, where daredevil skateboarders and BMX riders gather to showcase their skills and vie for extreme-sport championships. In skateboarding, Bodog is offering up lines on who will win the Big Air Event with three of the sport’s top riders - Bob Burnquist , Jake Brown, Pedro Barros - listed.

Who Will Replace Regis Odds

Mark Consuelos is the even-money favorite at the books right now to replace Regis Philbin as the co-host of Live With Regis and Kelly later this year.

Consuelos, of course, is married to Kelly Ripa, which the Bovada oddsmakers must feel gives him a leg up on the competition for the job. He's also been a fill-in host on the show in the past, and seemed comfortable enough engaging in the inane chit-chat called for by the job.

California tops Miss USA odds

Katy Perry sings that girls from The Golden State are unforgettable and undeniable, and the oddsmakers seem to be in agreement as Miss California has been set as the 9/2 favorite to win this Sunday's Miss USA Pageant.

Historically, the women of California have had success at this event, with five wins. That's second only to Texas, which boasts nine victories. California, though, will be looking to end a drought this weekend, as the state last won the pageant back in 1992.
