NE Patriots: 2015 Playoff Odds & Props

The New England Patriots have made the NFL playoffs in each of the past six seasons, and despite their offseason troubles they're still favored at the online sportsbooks to advance to the postseason once again at the end of the upcoming campaign.

At Bovada the Patriots are listed as -200 favorites to make the playoffs in the 2015/16 season, something which they've managed to do every year since 2009. New England is then at +160 at the sportsbook to put an end to that streak and miss the postseason.

Super Bowl 50: Early Spread Released

The AFC has produced the champion in two of the last three Super Bowls, but the early betting odds for Super Bowl 50 at the online sportsbooks have the NFC set as the small favorite to win the championship in 2016.

At Bovada the NFC is set as a 2.5-point favorite over the AFC on the early Super Bowl 50 spread. The NFC's Seattle Seahawks fell 28-24 to the AFC's New England Patriots at last year's Super Bowl, with the Seahawks winning the title the previous year with a 43-8 trouncing of the Denver Broncos.

Super Bowl XLIX Exotic Prop Bet Results

One of the most popular props for Super Bowl XLIX and toughest to judge involved Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who did not grab his crotch when he scored his team’s first touchdown against the New England Patriots in the second quarter.

While some reported that Lynch did grab his crotch, with YES closing at +250 (bet $100 to win $250), the television coverage did not show a clear view of it after he scored, prompting sportsbooks to grade it as a NO at -400 (bet $400 to win $100).
