Peyton Manning Betting: Will He Retire?

Peyton Manning seemed to get old really fast in the second half of the season.

And when he refused to commit to returning to the Denver Broncos next season in the wake of a home upset loss to the Colts, speculation ran rampant – is Peyton Manning going to retire?

The odds, at least those set this morning by Bovada, suggest not.

They set the ‘no’ answer as a big -700 favorite position (wager $70 to win $10) with the ‘yes’ as a 4-1 underdog bet (bet $10 and win $40).

Divisional Round: Colts battling Broncos

The Denver Broncos won but didn't cover against the Indianapolis Colts when they met back in September as Peyton Manning gets set to take on his old team once again in an AFC Divisional Playoffs matchup on Sunday afternoon.

The Broncos got past the Colts 31-24 but didn't manage to cover the 8.5-point spread at home when the teams met on September 7 in an OVER result. That was Denver's seventh straight ATS loss against the Colts dating back to 2005.

Indianapolis advanced to the second round of the playoffs with a 26-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals as a 3-point home favorite on the NFL betting lines on Wild Card Weekend. Denver received a bye into the second round.

The Denver Broncos sport a record of 12-4 and 8-8 ATS heading into this betting matchup, while the Indianapolis Colts sit at 12-5 and 11-5-1 ATS on the season. The over under totals records are 10-6 for the Broncos and 9-8 for the Colts.

The Seattle Seahawks are the biggest favorite on the betting lines for the NFL Divisional Playoffs as they prepare to take on the Carolina Panthers at CenturyLink Field on Saturday night.

The Seahawks, however, failed to cover the spread in their game against the Panthers during the regular season, topping Carolina 13-9 on the road as a 6-point favorite in that easy UNDER result for totals bettors at the online sportsbooks.

Seattle received a bye into the second round of the payoffs, while Carolina advanced to Saturday's game by topping the Arizona Cardinals 27-16 and covering a 6.5-point spread at home on Wild Card Weekend.

Seattle bring a 12-4 record (10-6 ATS) to the Divisional Playoff betting matchup against the 8-8-1 Carolina Panthers, who are 9-8 ATS against the spread. Over under betting has seen Seattle go 8-8 so far and the Panthers go 9-8.

NFL Betting: Divisional Playoffs Props

The NFC champion is already favored to win the Super Bowl, two weeks before we even know which teams will be playing.

NFL divisional weekend props were posted this week at Bovada and the NFC rep is favored by two points over the AFC champ.

Of course, before we get to the Super Bowl props there are plenty of fun wagers this weekend, including which player will have the most passing yards (Andrew Luck is favored) and which player will have the most rushing yards (DeMarco Murray is favored).
