TNF QB Props: Taylor vs Fitzpatrick

Buffalo Bills Tyrod Taylor

Tonight's Buffalo Bills and New York Jets Thursday Night Football tilt doesn’t feature the most intriguing quarterback matchup of the Week 10 NFL slate, but bettors looking to get in on some prop action will have no shortage of options at online sportsbook Bovada.

NFL Week 10 OddsShark Computer Picks

Week 10 sees a massive battle between NFC West-rivals when the Arizona Cardinals visit the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night. The OddsShark Super Computer is giving the edge to the Seahawks with a projected final score of 23.8-19.3 in favour of Seattle.

NFL Week 10 Betting Trends Analysis

This past week was just the second time the Detroit Lions didn't lose. The Lions were helped immeasurably by being idle.

The Lions not only have the worst record in the NFL at 1-7, but they also have the worst point spread mark, too, at 1-7.

It wasn't an uneventful bye week, though, for the Lions. Team president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mayhew were fired.

Now the Lions resume play with a road game against Green Bay. Do you know the year the Lions last beat the Packers in Wisconsin? Take a Scott Mitchell bobble head prize if you correctly guessed 1991.

NFL Week 10 Opening Odds Analysis

There is only one team in the NFL with the mystique, public backing and record to make the New York Giants a touchdown underdog at home. The New England Patriots are that team.

The Patriots have won 11 in a row going back to last season, compiling a 7-3-1 against the spread (ATS) mark. Bookmakers opened New England as a 7-point favorite on the road against the Giants.

Bears Have Been Solid ATS vs Rams

The Edward Jones Dome is the site of Week 10’s clash between the St. Louis Rams and Chicago Bears, which will appeal to bettors of the hometown side. The Rams (4-4 SU, 4-4 ATS) have covered the spread three times in front of the St. Louis faithful this season with the OVER/UNDER going 1-3 during that span.

Shark Bites
 • The Bears are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against the Rams.
 • The Rams are 5-1 ATS in their last six games in Week 10.
 • The total has gone OVER in 10 of the Rams' last 14 games in November.

Chicago has rebounded from an ugly 0-3 start to win three out of its next five but still sits behind the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings for third place in the NFC North. The Bears topped San Diego by a score of 22-19 in the Week 9 edition of Monday Night Football while covering the +3.5 spread in the process.

St. Louis was on the wrong end things against Minnesota in Week 9 but have recently performed well after suffering a loss. The Rams are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four games after dropping the previous matchup.

Titans Have Been Awful at Home

Titans Football

The Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans head into their Week 10 matchup in Nashville riding a high. Carolina is coming off a big home win over the Green Bay Packers, while the Titans garnered a much needed 34-28 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Mike Mularkey’s debut as the team’s interim head coach.

The trends aren’t working in Tennessee’s favor in this one, however. The Titans have been unexplainably bad at home in recent appearances, dropping each of their last nine games at Nissan Stadium. Stringing together solid back to back performances has also been a monumental task for the squad. Tennessee is 0-10 SU and ATS in its last 10 games following an ATS win.

Carolina ranks as one of the three unbeaten teams in the NFL at 8-0 SU and has continued to prove their naysayers wrong this season. The Cats have been a strong play for their bettors as well, entering the matchup with the Titans with 6-2 ATS record.

NFL Betting: Lions are Ice-Cold ATS

Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers are set to square off on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field in Week 9 of the NFL slate with both sides mired in some tough times. It’s been a year to forget for the Lions, who are just 1-7 SU. Detroit has been an awful play this year when it comes to covering the spread, going just 1-7 ATS at the midway point of the season.

Shark Bites

The Lions are 0-5 ATS in their last five games as underdogs against the Packers.

The Packers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games at home.

The Lions are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games as underdogs in November.

Green Bay’s return to Wisconsin couldn’t come at a better time. The Pack are coming off consecutive losses to the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers and have looked mediocre in just about every aspect of the game.

Green Bay’s defense has allowed 96 points over its last three games—a big reason a boiling point occurred on Sunday which saw multiple Packers defenders have a scuffle on the sidelines.

Week 10 Odds: Cowboys vs Buccaneers

Dez Bryant Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are two teams that have fallen upon some tough times as of late for different reasons. Injuries have plagued Dallas’ season to the point where there may be no coming back for the ‘Boys at 2-6 SU and ATS. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has fared better at 3-5 SU and 4-4 ATS, but are experiencing some growing pains with rookie quarterback Jameis Winston under center.

The good news for Bucs bettors is their penchant for bouncing back at the betting window. Tampa Bay, who fell to the Giants 32-18 while failing to cover as 1.5-point underdogs in Week 8, is 7-1 ATS in its last eight games after an ATS loss.

Ravens Failing to Cover at Home

Joe Flacco Ravens

It’s been a lackluster season so far for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens, but they’ll each try and right the ship Sunday when they collide in Maryland. Home field advantage has been nonexistent for backers of the Ravens, as Joe Flacco and company are an ugly 0-6 ATS in their last six home games.
Trend seekers will also be interested to know that the Ravens are 0-9-1 in their previous 10 games when tabbed as the favorites. Baltimore opened as 6.5-point home chalk for the tilt.

As bad as the Ravens have been as faves, the Jags aren’t exactly lighting the world on fire when it comes to winning straight up as underdogs. Gus Bradley’s squad is 0-13 SU in their last 13 games as underdogs. The good news is someone is going to win this game, but it won’t come anywhere close to being on the radar of NFL fans outside of their respective fan bases.

2015/16 NFC South Futures

The NFC South features one of the NFL’s three undefeated teams, the 7-0 Carolina Panthers who are unsurprisingly a -210 favorite to win the division at online sportsbook Bovada. Seven straight wins has given them a great head start, but the Atlanta Falcons (+225) are just two games behind, while the New Orleans Saints (+900) have rattled off four wins in their past five games.
