The 2014/15 college football bowl season gets underway on Saturday, December 20 in New Orleans and runs through the inaugural College Football Championship Game on Monday, January 12 in Arlington.

And the sportsbooks started posting their betting lines for each and every one of the bowl game matchups as soon the schedule was announced, including odds for the two national semifinal matchups set for January 1 - the Sugar Bowl between Alabama and Ohio State, and the Rose Bowl between Oregon and Florida State.

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Odds

The Nevada Wolf Pack will be looking for just their second SU win in their last eight bowl game appearances when they take on the UL-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns in the New Orleans Bowl. While they have struggled to post SU victories during bowl season, the Wolf Pack have covered as underdogs in their last two bowl games.

The Ragin’ Cajuns return to the New Orleans Bowl for a fourth straight year, after posting SU and ATS wins in their last three appearances, including a narrow 24-21 win over Tulane last season.

Gildan New Mexico Bowl Odds

The Utah State Aggies will be making a bowl game appearance for a fourth straight year when they take on the UTEP Miners in the New Mexico Bowl.

The Aggies posted a 21-14 win over Northern Illinois as two-point underdogs in last season’s Poinsettia Bowl, their second straight bowl game victory, SU and ATS. The Miners will be looking to end a five-game SU losing streak in the postseason, as they make their first bowl game appearance since 2010. UTEP is also 0-4 ATS in their last four bowl games, losing by double-digit margins in their last two.

Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl Odds

The Utah Utes are making their first bowl game appearance since leaving the Mountain West Conference in 2011, taking on the Colorado State Rams in the Las Vegas Bowl.

The Utes are 5-0 SU in their last five meetings with their former conference rivals, going 4-1 ATS while posting four wins over the Rams by double-digit margins. Colorado State returns to bowl season action for a second straight year.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Odds

The Western Michigan Broncos return to bowl season action for the first time since 2011, regaining bowl eligibility with an 8-4 record this season after compiling a dismal 5-19 SU record over their last two campaigns. The Broncos have been pegged as underdogs in their last five postseason games, going 2-3 ATS.

The Air Force Falcons achieved bowl eligibility this season for the seventh time in the eight years since joining the Mountain West Conference. The Falcons are just 2-5 SU in their last seven bowl games, but are a solid 3-1 ATS in their last four.

Raycom Media Camellia Bowl Odds

The South Alabama Jaguars will be making their first ever bowl game appearance in just their third season as full-fledged members of the Sun Belt conference. The Jags achieved bowl eligibility with a 6-6 record last season but were not selected to participate in a game.

Bowling Green makes a bowl game appearance for a fourth straight year, and is 4-7 SU in 11 all-time bowl appearances. The Falcons are a dismal 2-5 SU in their last seven bowl games, 1-5-1 ATS, including a 30-27 loss to Pittsburgh in last year’s Little Caesar’s Bowl, losing outright as 6.5-point favorites.

College Football Championship Futures

The inaugural field for the College Football Playoff has now been set, and it's the Alabama Crimson Tide who remain at the top of the odds at the online sportsbooks to win the College Football Championship Game in Arlington on January 12.

Birmingham Bowl College Football Betting Odds with Pick - East Carolina Pirates vs Florida Gators

The Florida Gators will be gunning for their ninth ATS win in their last 12 bowl game appearances when they face the East Carolina Pirates in the Birmingham Bowl. The Gators are 3-2 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall, with the total finishing UNDER in both of their SU losses, bucking a 7-1 trend by the OVER in Florida's previous eight.

The Pirates are 5-1 ATS over the past two seasons when pegged as underdogs, but are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight overall, while the OVER is a solid 5-1-1 in their last seven. The OVER prevailed in the last two former Compass Bowls, ending a stretch of six straight playing UNDER the posted total.

The East Carolina Pirates will look to cover ATS vs their hosts on Saturday, as they are 5-7 ATS versus the spread this season, while the Florida Gators are 6-5 ATS. East Carolina is 6-6 against the over under total, while Florida is 8-3 versus the number.

GoDaddy Bowl College Football Betting Odds with Pick - Toledo Rockets vs Arkansas State Red Wolves

The Arkansas State Red Wolves will look to remain undefeated, SU and ATS, in their third straight GoDaddy Bowl appearance when they take on the Toledo Rockets. The Red Wolves are 3-3 SU and ATS in their last six games this season with the OVER finishing 6-0 during that stretch. However, the UNDER is a strong 7-2 in the last nine GoDaddy/GMAC Bowls.

Favorites are 8-2-2 ATS in the last 12 GoDaddy/GMAC Bowls. However, the Rockets have struggled to reward bettors, going 3-4-1 in their last eight as favorites. Overall, Toledo is 4-7-1 ATS this season but are a solid 2-0-1 ATS in their last three and 4-1 SU in their last five.

This season the Arkansas State Red Wolves are 7-5 overall and 8-4 ATS against the spread, while the Rockets are 8-4 and 4-7-1 ATS. As for the totals, Arkansas State is 7-5 on the OU, and Toledo is 7-5
