Rutgers Betting Odds Preview

The Scarlet Knights have gone to a bowl three years in a row, winning 24 games over that span. But Rutgers takes a big step up in competition this year, moving from the American Athletic Conference to the Big Ten.

Colorado Betting Odds Preview

The Buffaloes won four games last year, their first season under new head coach Mike MacIntyre, three more than in their 1-11 campaign of 2012. However, the number of victories against Big 5 conference schools remained the same – one.

Coach MacIntyre got results at San Jose State, but it took about a season and a half for things to click. This year Colorado, with a season's worth of learning curve under its belt, gets several winnable games early, before the big boys of the Pac-12 pop up in October and November. The Buffs will be better, but can they get to six wins?

Oregon State Betting Odds Preview

Playing in the big green shadow of the Nike Ducks is probably tough, but the Beavers do what they can, make a little noise once in a while, keep going to bowls. But they just haven't been able to break through and make a run to the Pac-12 title.

Two years ago Oregon State started 6-0, then went 3-4 from there; last year OSU started 6-1, then went 1-5. And last season the Beavers got out-rushed by 100 yards per game. Oregon State will have to turn those two trends around if it wants to compete for a berth in the Pac-12 championship game.

California Betting Odds Preview

The Bears now know what the bottom looks like. Cal wasn't going to make a bowl last year, in its first season under new head coach Sonny Dykes, but nobody figured it would get as bad as it did.

TCU Betting Odds Preview

The Horned Frogs dominated the Mountain West for seven seasons, winning 77 games, four conference titles, going undefeated once and making a couple of other runs at perfection.

But they've found the going a little tougher in the Big 12, as one might expect, and last year fell to their worst record in a decade and a half, going 4-8 both SU and ATS. But don't believe this is the decline of a program, because it's not. This season TCU brings back a ton of experience and talent, especially on defense, and aims to make a run at its first Big 12 title.

Texas Tech Betting Odds Preview

The first half of the first season of the Kliff Kingsbury era (as head coach) in Lubbock went splendidly; the Red Raiders won their first seven games. The second half of last season, however, didn't go too well; they lost five games in a row.
