Louisville just gave a big effort last week in attempt to knock off defending national champion Florida State, but came up about a five minutes short of the upset, and missed the cover as a four-point home dog. The 6-3 Cardinals now must pick themselves up, dust themselves off and hit the ACC road for a game against 6-3 Boston College Saturday night up on Chestnut Hill.
Louisville led the Seminoles last Thursday 21-0 in the second quarter, and 31-28 late, but gave up the last two touchdowns of the game to lose 42-31. BC, meanwhile, has won two in a row, after beating Virginia Tech last week 33-31 on a touchdown with 30 seconds to go.
The Louisville Cardinals will look to cover ATS vs their hosts on Saturday, as they are 5-4 ATS versus the spread this season, while the Boston College Eagles are 6-3 ATS. Louisville is 2-6-1 against the over under total, while Boston College is 3-5-1 versus the number.
