National University Holiday Bowl Odds

This season’s National University Holiday Bowl features a much-anticipated Big Ten vs. Pac-12 showdown between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the USC Trojans.

Nebraska has already found its new head coach in Mike Riley, but look for Barney Cotton to be calling the shots in this game. The Cornhuskers closed out the regular season 3-2 straight-up with a 1-3-1 record against the spread. The total went OVER in four of those five games. USC matched that mark at 3-2 SU down the stretch and it was 2-3 ATS in its last five games. The total stayed UNDER in four of those contests.

New Era Pinstripe Bowl Odds

The Penn State Nittany Lions return to postseason play for the first time since 2012 to square off against the Boston College Eagles in this year's New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

The Nittany Lions finished the regular season on a down note with back-to-back losses both straight-up and against the spread and the total has stayed UNDER in three of their last five games. Boston College went 2-2 SU in its last four games, but it built up a head of steam for bettors with a 3-1 record ATS in its last four games including a tight three-point loss to Florida State as a 16.5-point road underdog.

Independence Bowl Odds

The Miami Hurricanes will represent the ACC in a matchup against the SEC’s South Carolina Gamecocks in this season’s Duck Commander Independence Bowl.

Hyundai Sun Bowl Odds

The Pac-12’s Arizona State Sun Devils will be looking to heat things up against the ACC’s Duke Blue Devils in this season’s Hyundai Sun Bowl in El Paso.

At one time this season some thought the Sun Devils might be playing on New Year’s Day with an 8-1 straight-up (and 5-4 against the spread) start to the year, but losses to Oregon State and Arizona both SU and ATS derailed those plans. The Blue Devils had visions of a return trip to the ACC title game, but they came unhinged in losses (SU and ATS) to Virginia Tech and North Carolina.

Military Bowl Odds

This season’s Military Bowl pits the AAC’s Cincinnati Bearcats against the ACC’s Virginia Tech Hokies in the second head-to-head matchup this bowl season between these two conferences.

Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl Odds

After missing out on bowl season a year ago the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will both make their return to the postseason this year when they meet up in the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the Cotton Bowl.

Illinois’ last trip to a bowl game was the 2011 Fight Hunger Bowl, when they edged UCLA 20-14 as a 3-point favorite on the betting lines at the sportsbooks. Louisiana Tech’s last bowl invite was the 2011 Poinsettia Bowl, when they lost to TCU 31-24 as a 9.5-point underdog. The Bulldogs are the Heart of Dallas Bowl betting favorite.

Quick Lane Bowl Odds

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the North Carolina Tar Heels will write the first chapter in the book for the inaugural Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field this month.

The Scarlet Knights have lost their last two bowl games, including last year’s 29-16 Pinstripe Bowl loss to Notre Dame as a 14.5-point underdog. Despite their short bowl-game losing streak Rutgers is 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight bowl games.

Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl Odds

This season’s St. Petersburg Bowl will have a new feel to it with Bitcoin taking over the primary sponsorship of the event. In a scheduled AAC vs. ACC matchup, the Central Florida Knights will square off against the North Carolina State Wolf Pack.

The Knights earned a share of the AAC title with a 7-1 record in conference play after going a perfect 4-0 both straight-up and against the spread down the stretch. North Carolina State is also coming in hot ATS after covering in four of its final five outings, including a 35-7 romp over North Carolina as a 6.5-point road underdog.

Hawaii Bowl Odds

The matchup might be somewhat of a dud, but at least the sun should be shining and the temperature warm when the Fresno State Bulldogs and the Rice Owls clash in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve.

The Bulldogs return to the Hawaii Bowl two years after getting pummelled by Southern Methodist 43-10 as a 13-point favorite in their lone appearance. Rice will be making their Hawaii Bowl debut and hope to rebound from a horrible showing in last year’s Liberty Bowl.

Popeyes Bahamas Bowl Odds

It will be a little bit of deja vu when the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers clash in the first ever Bahamas Bowl at Thomas Robinson Stadium. Both the Chippewas and the Hilltoppers were shut out of the bowl season a year ago, so the last time either team was in a bowl game was when they met up in the 2012 Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl.

In that matchup two years ago Central Michigan came out on top by a score of 24-21, but they failed to cover the 6.5-point spread. In the rematch the Hilltoppers are listed as the betting favorite at the sportsbooks.
