BYU is 3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS in its last three games, as backup quarterback Christian Stewart improves. The Cougars shoot for a fourth straight victory, on their way to a bowl, when they take on the 5-6 Cal Bears Saturday afternoon in Berkeley.
Stewart just threw four touchdown passes, without an interception, in BYU's 64-0 victory over Savannah State, giving him a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 10/0 over his last three games, all Cougar victories. Cal, meanwhile, has a nice young quarterback of its own, sophomore Jared Goff, who's thrown 31 touchdown passes this season against six interceptions, getting the Bears to within one victory of bowl eligibility.
The California Golden Bears sport a record of 5-6 and 7-4 ATS heading into this betting matchup, while the BYU Cougars sit at 7-4 and 4-7 ATS on the season. The over under totals records are 6-5 for the Golden Bears and 6-4-1 for the Cougars.
