Oklahoma State Betting Odds Preview

Last year the Cowboys came within a game of a second Big 12 championship in three seasons, but lost that game to rival Oklahoma. Oklahoma State has hit double-digits in victories three of the last four seasons, and should be regarded as one of the best programs in a pretty good conference.

Northern Illinois Betting Odds Preview

It’s been quite a run for the Huskies behind quarterback Jordan Lynch and their dynamic offense. Last year Northern Illinois ran the table in the regular season going undefeated,. However, they failed to record their third straight MAC Championship after an upset loss to Bowling Green in the title game. They also were upset in the Poinsettia Bowl, losing to Utah State 21-14. Now the hard part is keeping it up without Lynch.

Marshall Betting Odds Preview

The Thundering Herd went through a complete turnaround last season. The Herd doubled their win total and claimed the Conference USA East Division before their run was ended by Rice in the conference championship game. Marshall also won the Military Bowl and with 14 starters returning they should have their sights set even higher this season.

Bowling Green Betting Odds Preview

The Bowling Green Falcons soared to an impressive and somewhat unexpected 10-4 record last season that earned them a spot in the MAC Championship Game. In the title game the surprises kept coming as they vanquished the then-undefeated Northern Illinois Huskies in a 47-27 rout as a 3-point underdog.

The Falcons were riding a five-game winning streak before an upset loss to Pittsburgh in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.

Boise State Betting Odds Preview

It’s a new era at Boise State after the departure of head coach Chris Peterson. After taking the Broncos to new heights Peterson heads to Washington to take the top job. To replace a legend Boise State decided to stay in the family. Bryan Harsin comes home after only one year at the helm at Arkansas State where he led the Red Wolves to a Sun Belt championship and a bowl. Harsin was the offensive coordinator on the blue turf during the Broncos' glory years and he’ll try to lead them back up the mountain after a bit of a step back last season.

Louisiana-Lafayette Betting Odds Preview

The Ragin’ Cajuns have been stuck on repeat the last three seasons. In three straight years the Cajuns have gone 9-4, claimed at least a share of the Sun Belt championship and won the New Orleans Bowl.

Considering that turnaround started with the hiring of head coach Mark Hudspeth three years ago, it’s surprising he’s still around. Luckily for Hudspeth most of his important pieces from last year’s squad are back too.

Mississippi State Betting Odds Preview

Playing in the brutal SEC West just isn't going too well for the Bulldogs. They win the games they're supposed to, against the likes of Troy and Kentucky, but can't upset anybody. Mississippi State went 6-0 SU last year in games it was favored, and 1-6 SU in games it was the underdog.

The Bulldogs are also a combined 1-16 SU under head coach Dan Mullen against Alabama, LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M. And you're not going to finish in the top half of the SEC West if you can't beat those guys a few times.
