The 3-1 Huskers, who began life in the Big Ten last year by getting trounced in Madison, were favored by 12 points over the underachieving Badgers.

Wildcats Gamecocks Odds Preview

South Carolina, now ranked No. 6 in the country, shoots for its second SEC road win of this season when its visits Kentucky Saturday afternoon (7 pm ET, ESPN2).

The 4-0 Gamecocks are also 3-1 ATS so far, while the Wildcats are 1-3 both straight-up and ATS. South Carolina has won 11 of the past 12 meetings straight up.

And oddsmakers made KU a huge 21-point underdog at shops like TopBet and this weekend.


Hawaii Warriors vs BYU Cougars Bet

The 2-2 BYU Cougars, coming off a tough loss at Boise State, continue with their non-conferencing when they host the 1-2 Warriors of Hawaii Friday night (8 pm ET ESPN).


BYU, which beat Hawaii last year 41-20, was favored by 27 points over the Warriors, which just gave up 69 points to Nevada. Overall, BYU is 6-1 SU in seven meetings with Hawaii since 1995.

The total was sitting at 49.5, surprisingly low and about 60% of the totals betting was on the OVER, according to 5Dimes.


College Football Opening Lines

You would think by the end of September college football bettors and oddsmakers would at least be able to agree on which teams should be favored.

Stanford, which has beaten the Huskies four times in a row, the last two times by 40-plus points, was an early seven-point favorite over U-Dub. They are 6-1-1 ATS in their past 8 overall against their Pac 12 foes.

The Ducks, just 1-3 ATS this year, were favored by 29 points at Wazzu, which is coming off an upset loss to Colorado. They game will be played at nearby CenturyLink Stadium, instead of at Washington State's Martin Stadium.
