South Carolina just pulled a much-needed upset as home dogs against Georgia, but now plays the role of the big favorite when it visits Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon. The Gamecocks have beaten the Commodores five times in a row, but Vandy is 5-2 ATS in the last seven games in this series.
South Carolina sputtered through its first two games this season, a blowout loss to the Aggies and a win over East Carolina, going 0-2 ATS. But the Gamecocks outlasted the Bulldogs last week 38-35 as 6-point dogs. Vandy, meanwhile, is 1-2 SU but 0-3 ATS through the first three games of the post-Coach Franklin era.
Vanderbilt will face the 2-1 South Carolina Gamecocks, who own a 1-2 ATS mark on the season. In totals betting, the Vanderbilt Commodores are 1-2 so far this season while the Gamecocks are 2-1.
