Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl Odds

After missing out on bowl season a year ago the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will both make their return to the postseason this year when they meet up in the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the Cotton Bowl.

Illinois’ last trip to a bowl game was the 2011 Fight Hunger Bowl, when they edged UCLA 20-14 as a 3-point favorite on the betting lines at the sportsbooks. Louisiana Tech’s last bowl invite was the 2011 Poinsettia Bowl, when they lost to TCU 31-24 as a 9.5-point underdog. The Bulldogs are the Heart of Dallas Bowl betting favorite.

Quick Lane Bowl Odds

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the North Carolina Tar Heels will write the first chapter in the book for the inaugural Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field this month.

The Scarlet Knights have lost their last two bowl games, including last year’s 29-16 Pinstripe Bowl loss to Notre Dame as a 14.5-point underdog. Despite their short bowl-game losing streak Rutgers is 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight bowl games.

Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl Odds

This season’s St. Petersburg Bowl will have a new feel to it with Bitcoin taking over the primary sponsorship of the event. In a scheduled AAC vs. ACC matchup, the Central Florida Knights will square off against the North Carolina State Wolf Pack.

The Knights earned a share of the AAC title with a 7-1 record in conference play after going a perfect 4-0 both straight-up and against the spread down the stretch. North Carolina State is also coming in hot ATS after covering in four of its final five outings, including a 35-7 romp over North Carolina as a 6.5-point road underdog.

Hawaii Bowl Odds

The matchup might be somewhat of a dud, but at least the sun should be shining and the temperature warm when the Fresno State Bulldogs and the Rice Owls clash in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve.

The Bulldogs return to the Hawaii Bowl two years after getting pummelled by Southern Methodist 43-10 as a 13-point favorite in their lone appearance. Rice will be making their Hawaii Bowl debut and hope to rebound from a horrible showing in last year’s Liberty Bowl.

Popeyes Bahamas Bowl Odds

It will be a little bit of deja vu when the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers clash in the first ever Bahamas Bowl at Thomas Robinson Stadium. Both the Chippewas and the Hilltoppers were shut out of the bowl season a year ago, so the last time either team was in a bowl game was when they met up in the 2012 Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl.

In that matchup two years ago Central Michigan came out on top by a score of 24-21, but they failed to cover the 6.5-point spread. In the rematch the Hilltoppers are listed as the betting favorite at the sportsbooks.

Boca Raton Bowl Odds

College football fans will welcome a new bowl game to the December schedule when the Marshall Thundering Herd face off against the Northern Illinois Huskies in the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium. This bowl game is a clash of two conference champs after Marshall ran away with the Conference USA title and the Huskies easily rolled to a Mid-American Conference title.

The Thundering Herd opened up as a big favorite for this bowl game matchup, with the oddsmakers at the online sportsbooks making them double-digit chalk on the betting lines.

SDC Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl Odds

The San Diego State Aztecs should get plenty of support from the fans this bowl season as they'll be playing close to home when they match up with the Navy Midshipmen in the Poinsettia Bowl – which will be contested at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

The Poinsettia Bowl is familiar territory for both sides, as the Aztecs played in and lost the 2012 Poinsettia Bowl, while Navy is making their fourth trip following a win in 2005 and losses in 2007 and 2010. The Aztecs opened up as a slim favorite in this bowl game matchup.

Miami Beach Bowl Odds

The BYU Cougars will be making their first appearance in a Florida-based bowl game in 29 years when they take on the Memphis Tigers in the inaugural Miami Beach Bowl.

The Cougars last played in a Florida bowl in 1985, when they lost 10-7 to Ohio State in the Citrus Bowl. The Cougars are 9-11-1 SU in bowl games since then, and 4-0 SU in their last four. After compiling their first winning record in seven years, the Tigers will be making just their seventh bowl appearance in the history of the program, and will be looking for their first SU bowl victory since 2005.

Raycom Media Camellia Bowl Odds

The South Alabama Jaguars will be making their first ever bowl game appearance in just their third season as full-fledged members of the Sun Belt conference. The Jags achieved bowl eligibility with a 6-6 record last season but were not selected to participate in a game.

Bowling Green makes a bowl game appearance for a fourth straight year, and is 4-7 SU in 11 all-time bowl appearances. The Falcons are a dismal 2-5 SU in their last seven bowl games, 1-5-1 ATS, including a 30-27 loss to Pittsburgh in last year’s Little Caesar’s Bowl, losing outright as 6.5-point favorites.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Odds

The Western Michigan Broncos return to bowl season action for the first time since 2011, regaining bowl eligibility with an 8-4 record this season after compiling a dismal 5-19 SU record over their last two campaigns. The Broncos have been pegged as underdogs in their last five postseason games, going 2-3 ATS.

The Air Force Falcons achieved bowl eligibility this season for the seventh time in the eight years since joining the Mountain West Conference. The Falcons are just 2-5 SU in their last seven bowl games, but are a solid 3-1 ATS in their last four.
