CFL Underdogs Cashing At 83%

Since before the season started, I've  been writing about the importance of looking at underdogs and UNDERs in the CFL during the first four weeks of the season.

Hopefully you've been cashing in. Dogs are now 10-2 ATS (against the spread) and the UNDER is 7-4-1 after Week 3. That's an 83 percent hit rate for underdogs after going a perfect 4-0 last week and a 63.6 percent win rate for the UNDER this season.

Underdogs, UNDERS Paying Off Early In CFL

Who doesn’t love a good underdog story?

Well, pull up a chair and let me tell you one. It will only take a minute.

Underdogs are 6-2 so far this CFL season. And the beauty of it is that they are also 6-2 straight up, meaning maximum profits for you if you’ve been smart enough to take the plus-money as well as the points.

That’s basically the story. Didn’t even take a minute, did it?

There is a little more to it though and it’s this: UNDERS are also 5-3 through two weeks.

CFL Week 2 Odds Breakdown & Picks

If you don’t get a chance to see much CFL you may not know that this week is a pretty big deal in the big-ball league.

It’s Canada Day, which falls on Friday this year, and so the games will be held on Thursday and Friday instead of being spread out over the weekend. It’s as much a part of the tradition north of the 49th as fireworks and grills are south of it for July 4th.

So why not bet a little Silly Ball this weekend? I break down the lines the way I see them below. You may want to note that underdogs went 4-0 straight up and against the spread last week.

Injuries: A Bigger Betting Edge In The CFL

Week 1 of the CFL may have provided the best game we’ll see all season on Saturday night. The Ottawa Redblacks beat the Edmonton Eskimos 45-37 in overtime in a rematch of the 2015 Grey Cup.

It was a sweet moneyline payout for anyone who took Ottawa, who was slated as a 5-point underdog in the game. It was also the first win for Ottawa in Edmonton in over 30 years.

Tips For Betting The CFL

I remember walking into the Wynn sportsbook’s back room one summer afternoon and there was this super upbeat oddsmaker keenly looking in on a Hamilton Tiger-Cats game on the screen in front of him.

I can’t remember exactly but I think they were playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

I made a comment about him needing to adjust the rabbit ears or something and he shot around in his swivel chair. Two seconds later he started spewing Oskee-Wee-Wee and it took about a half a minute before I realized I was way out of my league as a semi-dedicated follower of the CFL.
