Week 3 CFL Betting Odds

Thursday night sees the surprisingly undefeated Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Calgary Stampeders to kick off Week 3 of the CFL betting season.

Week 2 CFL Betting Odds

Winnipeg hosts underdog Toronto on Friday night in the first game of two doubleheaders in Week 2 CFL betting action.

The Argos head in their Friday contest after knocking off Calgary last week, posting a 23-21 win and covering the 7.5-point spread as underdogs. The Blue Bombers were also winners against Hamilton on Canada Day and look to follow that up in their home opener. The Blue Bombers are favored by 1.5 points at 5Dimes for Friday, with a posted total of 48 points.

Alouettes vs BC in CFL Opening Odds

Canada Day weekend appropriately marks the kickoff of the CFL season and a tilt between the BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes highlights Week 1 betting action.

And while betting trends don't always continue year over year, some historical angles between these teams are worth checking out.

For starters, the two-time defending champions from Montreal have all kinds of trouble at home against BC. In the past 13 games in Montreal, the Alouettes have covered the CFL point spread just twice. That's right - 2-11 ATS run.

CFL Odds: Grey Cup Futures

The Montreal Alouettes have been to three straight Grey Cup games, winning the last two. Even after some roster turnover they're the favorites on the Grey Cup futures to deliver a three-peat heading into the new CFL season.

Grey Cup: Alouettes Win Again

Congrats to the Montreal Alouettes, who won their second straight title, but did not cover the Grey Cup odds in beating the RoughRiders.

Just like last season Montreal beat the Saskatchewan Roughriders and also like last season the game was a close one. Alouettes' WR Jamel Richardson was named the game's MVP and his 37-yard catch set up Avon Cobourne's TD run that put Montreal up for good.

Grey Cup Odds Preview

The Grey Cup is set, as in a match up of last year's big game the Montreal Alouettes will face the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Last week Montreal had no problem in crushing Toronto 48-17 while Saskatchewan scored a 20-16 upset over Calgary with a great defensive game.

CFL Playoffs Betting Preview

In the CFL semifinals there was a big upset and a near upset, as Toronto and Saskatchewan advanced to the next round of the playoffs.

The Argonauts forced five turnovers and beat Hamilton for the first time this season. In the other semifinal game Saskatchewan needed double OT to beat British Columbia, as ex Lions WR Jason Clermont caught a 24-yard TD in extra time to send his former team packing. The loss for BC breaks a string of six straight appearances in a division final.

Week 19 CFL Odds Preview

The Grey Cup looms, but CFL betting action continues in earnest this week as the regular season wraps up.

In week 18 Toronto ended their hopes to host a playoff game with their 37-30 loss to Montreal and Winnipeg was eliminated from the playoffs and Edmonton kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Blue Bombers. Calgary killed Hamilton 55-24 and BC also stayed in the playoff race with a big 23-17 win over Saskatchewan.

Week 18 CFL Odds Preview

With only two games left in the CFL regular season the playoff teams are pretty much set and I say pretty much, as Winnipeg has to win their last two games and Edmonton and British Columbia will have to lose their last two games for the Blue Bombers to make the post-season. In last week’s game Hamilton crushed Montreal 40-3, BC kept their playoff hopes alive with a tough away win over Calgary, Toronto beat Winnipeg 27-8, and Edmonton beat Saskatchewan 39-24.

Week 18 CFL Preview and Lines

Week 17 CFL Odds Preview

It’s getting crunch time in the CFL, as there are only three games left to play and three teams have clinched playoff spots and the other four teams are all still alive for the last three.
