Sportsbooks release Grey Cup odds

The B.C. Lions are set at 9/2 on the CFL odds to win the 2012 Grey Cup in lines released this past week by the online sportsbooks.

That would make it two straight titles for the Lions, but they're not the favorites at Bovada right now - after a flurry of moves this offseason the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are listed at 4/1 on the Grey Cup futures list.

Grey Cup Odds: Win vs. BC

The final CFL betting matchup of the season has Winnipeg, the best defense in the East, facing B.C., the best defense in the West, on the Grey Cup odds board in Vancouver on Sunday night.

B.C. defeated Edmonton 40-23 in the Western Final and covered the 6.5-point spread, while the game’s combined score went OVER the posted total of 50 set by oddsmakers. Winnipeg dumped Hamilton 19-3 in the Eastern Final, covering the 3.5-point spread with the game paying out to UNDER bettors in totals betting.

CFL Betting Odds: Division Finals

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will try to take down the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the East Division Final in the early CFL betting matchup on Sunday.

It seems like insurmountable odds that Hamilton will win its second straight road game in the postseason to earn a berth in the Grey Cup. The Blue Bombers are listed at 5Dimes as a 3-point favorite at home for the East Division Final. The game’s total is set at 51.

CFL Betting Odds: Division Semis

Division semifinal opponents have now been determined and it’s time for the opening round of CFL playoff betting action on Sunday.

The East semifinal will go in Montreal with the Alouettes (10-8) hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (8-10) in the opening CFL betting matchup on Sunday. The Alouettes are the 5.5-point favorites at 5Dimes, while the total is sitting at 55.5 points.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 19

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (8-9) are set to meet the Argonauts (5-12) in Toronto on the final weekend of regular season CFL betting action on Thursday night.

5Dimes has the Tiger-Cats listed as a narrow 2-point favorite on the road, with the OVER/UNDER set at 50.5.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 18

Toronto tries to salvage some pride in their dismal season as they travel to Winnipeg to face the Blue Bombers in the lone CFL betting matchup on Friday.

The Argonauts (4-12) fell 31-24 to West-leading Edmonton last week as a 4-point road underdog. That game’s combined score paid out to OVER bettors in totals betting. Winnipeg (10-6) is a huge 9.5-point favorite at 5Dimes, while the posted total is sitting at 49.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 17

With just a few weeks left in the CFL regular season all playoff positions have been determined, but teams are still looking for home-field advantage and Week 17 CFL betting action should heat up with a pair of games on Friday.

The 9-6 Edmonton Eskimos will try to keep pace with the Lions in the West when they take on the 4-11 Toronto Argonauts in the opening CFL betting matchup on Friday. 5Dimes has Edmonton listed as a 3-point favorite, while the total is sitting at 48.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 16

Calgary is in a three-way tie for first in the West and needs to come out a winner when they play league-worst Toronto in their CFL betting matchup for Week 16 on Friday night.

The Stampeders (8-6) lost to the Lions for the second time this season last week 33-31 while managing to cover the 3-point spread. Calgary has lost three of the last four, but a date with Toronto (3-11) should be just the remedy for their woes. Toronto won the only meeting between these teams this season as a 7.5-point underdog.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 15

Winnipeg (8-5) has lost four of their last five games and hope to get back on track as they travel to Hamilton (7-6) for Friday night CFL betting action.

Despite the Tiger-Cats losing both head-to-head matchups this season, 5Dimes gives the edge to Hamilton at home by a 4.5-point spread, with the total sitting at 53 for the contest.

Hamilton defeated Toronto 27-12 last week and covered the 3.5-point spread in victory. That game’s combined score went UNDER the posted total of 54 set by oddsmakers.

CFL Betting Odds: Week 14

Montreal (7-5) will get another shot at climbing atop the East alongside Winnipeg (8-4) if they can beat the division-leading Blue Bombers in the first of two CFL betting matchups on Friday night.

Montreal defeated the West-leading Edmonton Eskimos 34-21 last week as a 1.5-point road underdog, while the combined score made winners of UNDER bettors in totals wagering.
