SK has been dominant this entire tournament, averaging around 30 minute match lengths and not dropping a single game yet. KOO has been a harder team to figure out with several inconsistencies plaguing them.

eSports: LoL Worlds Semifinals Preview

The big news in the week leading up to the Semifinals has been the removal of Gragas from the champion pool. Riot decided to remove the champion after a glitch was found in the quarterfinals match between Fnatic and EDG when Gragas was unable to use one of his abilities.

Gragas was one of the most used champions throughout the tournament with the character appearing in 29 of 38 games so far. Riot also removed Lux and Ziggs from the rotation, though neither champion has been used in the tournament.

League of Legends Quarterfinals Preview

Origen will look to slow down the aggressive Flash Wolves in the first game of the League of Legend Quarterfinals on Thursday. OG is currently favored to win at -230 according to Bovada, which would mean they will dictate the pace of play.

OG excels when they are able to slow the pace of the game down and keep champion confrontations to a minimum. In their past two wins Origen has only had a combined average of 19 champion deaths for both teams, but in their past two losses that number jumps to 35.

Through the first weekend of play at the League Of Legends World Championship group stages, Group A has become the most hotly contested battleground. Both Counter Logic Gaming and the Koo Tigers are 2-1 with the Flash Wolves and paIN Gaming posting 1-2 records.

KOO and CLG to Determine Leader in Group A

These two teams met in their last game, with KOO controlling most of the action. The Tigers got the gold advantage at the eight-minute mark and did not relinquish the lead again.
