NLCS Game 6: Cards vs. Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be looking to stave off elimination once again on Friday night as they play on the road against the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6 of the NLCS.

The Dodgers cut the Cardinals' series lead to 3-2 on Wednesday with a 6-4 win in Game 5 of the best-of-seven set. Adrian Gonzalez homered twice and scored three runs for the Dodgers in that victory on the MLB lines.

Clayton Kershaw, with a record of 17-10 on the season, gets the ball for the Dodgers, while the Cardinals trot Michael Wacha to the mound in this one. He is 6-1 so far in 2013.

ALCS Game 5: BoSox, Tigers square

The Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers are all square at two victories apiece in the ALCS as that best-of-seven MLB betting series continues at Comerica Park on Thursday night.

The Tigers pulled even with the Red Sox in the set on Wednesday night with a 7-3 win, getting two RBI from each of Torii Hunter, Miguel Cabrera, and Austin Jackson in the contest. Doug Fister picked up the victory on the mound.

ALCS Game 4: Red Sox lead Tigers

The Boston Red Sox will be looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead on Wednesday night as they play Game 4 of the best-of-seven ALCS against the Tigers at Comerica Park.

Boston went up 2-1 in the series on Tuesday with a 1-0 road win behind the pitching of John Lackey. Mike Napoli homered for the Red Sox in that victory to drive in the game's only run in the seventh inning. Koji Uehara earned the save.

Cardinals can close out the NLCS

The St. Louis Cardinals are just one win away from securing a berth in the World Series as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5 of the NLCS on Wednesday afternoon.

St. Louis grabbed a 3-1 lead in the series on Tuesday night with a 4-2 victory at Dodger Stadium. Matt Holliday and Shane Robinson both homered for the Cardinals in that victory, with Yasiel Puig driving in a run for the Dodgers.

Joe Kelly, with a record of 10-5 on the season, gets the ball for the Cardinals, while the Dodgers trot Zack Greinke to the mound in this one. He is 15-5 so far in 2013.

NLCS Game 4: Cardinals vs. Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be looking to tie up the NLCS at two wins apiece on Tuesday night as they play host to the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 3 of the best-of-seven set.

Los Angeles cut their series deficit to 2-1 on Monday night with a 3-0 home win in Game 3 of the set. Hanley Ramirez, Adrian Gonzalez, and Yasiel Puig had RBI for the Dodgers in that win, with Hyun-Jin Ryu tossing seven scoreless innings.

ALCS Game 3: Tigers host Red Sox

Justin Verlander will get his first start of the ALCS on Tuesday afternoon as the Detroit Tigers play host to the Boston Red Sox in Game 3 of the best-of-seven series.

Boston and Detroit split the first two games of the ALCS at Fenway Park last week, with the Red Sox winning Game 2 by a 6-5 score on Sunday night. Verlander has a 3-4 record with a 3.63 ERA over his 11 career starts against the Red Sox.

Verlander will face John Lackey, 11-13 on the year.

Wainwright on hill for NLCS Game 3

UNDER bettors will be watching closely on Monday night as Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLCS at Dodger Stadium.

The UNDER paid off in each of the first two games of the NLCS in St. Louis, with the Cardinals winning those contests by scores of 3-2 and 1-0. Wainwright is 4-4 with a 3.10 ERA over his 13 career appearances against the Dodgers.

On the season Wainwright went 19-9 with a 2.94 ERA. Dodgers starter Hyun-Jin Ryu was 14-8 with a 3.00 ERA this season.

Scherzer takes mound for the Tigers

The Detroit Tigers will turn to righthander Max Scherzer on Sunday night as they take on the Boston Red Sox on the road at Fenway Park in the second game of the best-of-seven ALCS.

Scherzer picked up two wins against the A's in the Tigers' ALDS victory, but the righthander is just 2-4 with an ugly 7.02 ERA in eight career starts against Boston. Scherzer held Boston to two runs over seven innings on September 3.

Boston hands the ball to starter Clay Buchholz in this one and he'll try to improve on his 12-1 mark on the year.

Lester opens up ALCS for Red Sox

Jon Lester will get the ball for the Boston Red Sox on Saturday night as they open up the best-of-seven ALCS at home at Fenway Park against the visiting Detroit Tigers.

Lester is 2-2 with a 4.63 ERA in his seven career starts against the Tigers, and he won his only ALDS outing against the Rays (two runs over 7 2-3 innings of work). The lefthander went 15-8 with a 3.75 ERA in the regular season.

Anibal Sanchez will be on the mound for the Tigers; Sanchez went 14-9 on the season.

Dodgers and Cards continue NLCS

The Los Angeles Dodgers will turn to ace Clayton Kershaw on Saturday afternoon as they continue their best-of-seven NLCS on the road at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Kershaw has made 12 career starts against St. Louis, going 4-5 in those contests with a 3.75 ERA. The lefthander made two starts against the Braves in the NLDS, allowing a combined one earned run on six hits over those 13 innings.

Michael Wacha gets the call for the St. Louis Cardinals and he will try to build on a 5-1 mark from the regular season.
