World Series Game 7 Betting Odds

The baseball season will wrap up on Friday night as the St. Louis Cardinals host the Texas Rangers in Game 7 of the World Series.

The Cardinals staved off elimination and forced the deciding contest with a 10-9 win at home in extra innings in Game 6 on Thursday night. David Freese homered in the 11th in that contest to give St. Louis the victory.

Chris Carpenter will throw for the Cardinals while Matt Harrison gets the ball for Texas. St. Louis is favored and Texas will be hard-pressed to rebound from the crushing loss.

Game 6 of the World Series will be played in St. Louis on Thursday, with the Cardinals hosting the Rangers on the MLB betting board

Colby Lewis is expected to start for Texas on Thursday night, with Jaime Garcia getting the ball for St. Louis. In Game 5 on Monday night the Rangers picked up the win to take a 3-2 series lead.

The St. Louis Cardinals play host to the Texas Rangers on Thursday night in Game 2 of the World Series, a day after rallying for a 3-2 win.

Jaime Garcia will get the ball for St. Louis on Thursday, while Texas counters with Colby Lewis. The lefty Garcia could pose problems for Texas. During the regular season, Texas was 30 games over .500 overall, but just 26-21 vs LHP starters.

In Game 1 on Wednesday night the Cardinals took a 1-0 series lead with a 3-2 victory.

Texas is favored in Game 1 and favored heavily to win the 2011 World Series but the most fun and profit potential exists not on the baseball moneyline but on World Series player prop bets.
