The Montreal Canadiens have found the offensive spark that was lost most of last season, which has led them to go OVER in seven of their last eight games. Through those eight games the Habs have averaged 3.5 goals per game and scored four or more on five occasions. The Canadiens will look to keep the offense rolling when they visit the New Jersey Devils Friday.
Montreal has found themselves back in the same position they were two weeks ago after Carey Price aggravated his lower body injury against the Rangers Wednesday. Price will miss another week and the Habs will rely on rookie Mike Condon in nets again Friday. Condon has been excellent with the Princeton-alum posting a .916 save percentage and a 2.16 GAA this season.
The Devils have not given home fans too much to get excited about this season as they are just 5-5-1 at the Prudential Center, while alternating wins and losses in their last four.
