Brazil is the favorite to win Group G, but winning it will not be easy, as in this World Cup this is the Group of Death.
Brazil (-222) has the best odds to win Group G and they recently overtook Spain as FIFA’s top-ranked team. It is interesting that Group G is the group of death since North Korea is the lowest ranked team by FIFA playing in South Africa.

Italy is the defending World Cup champion and they were lucky to be in one of the easiest groups of the tournament.
Italy (-333) won the World Cup in 2006 and they are the major favorites to win Group F. The Italians did not do well at the European Championships is 2008 or at last June’s Confederations Cup, but they have a good squad with a great defense.
Italy did not have a tough time in World Cup qualifying and they are trying to repeat as champions for the second time.

Slovakia is making their first World Cup appearance and while they have the third best odds to win their group they are a squad that has a strong defense and led their European qualifying group in goals.
Slovakia is in Group F along with defending World Cup champion Italy, Paraguay, and New Zealand. Bovada has Slovakia +20000 to win the World Cup and at +1000 to win Group E.

Netherlands has a great offense and if they can play decent defense they will be tough to beat in group play.
The Netherlands is in Group E with Denmark, Cameroon, and Japan. Bovada has Netherlands at +1200 to win the World Cup and at -175 to win Group E.
The Netherlands is not in the toughest group and they have a great offense, but Cameroon and Japan are the highest ranked teams in their respective continents and Denmark looked great in qualifying winning their group ahead of Portugal and Sweden.
