Bellator 67 Betting Odds Preview
Friday night’s Bellator 67 betting action will be headlined by a non-title Lightweight super-fight between Bellator Lightweight champion Michal Chandler and Pride and Pancrase veteran Akihiro Gono. Chandler is a heavy -900 favorite at Bovada, while Gono will currently pay +600 at 5Dimes.
Every non-title fight with a current champ in Bellator history has gone to the champion except one, and Gono is 3-4 in his last seven against competition in lesser promotions. This should be an easy day at the office for Chandler, who should be able to finish his opponent within the first two rounds.
In a Welterweight Season 6 tournament fight Ben Saunders will look to reach the finals of the Welterweight tournament for the second season in a row with a win over Bryan Baker. Baker lost in the semis last season and will be the 5Dimes MMA odds +170 underdog, while Saunders and his lethal Muay Thai skills should come out on top as the 5Dimes -230 favorite.
In Heavyweight action “The Polish Pitbull” Damian Grabowski will look to make it three straight victories at Bellator 67 when he steps into the cage against Dave Huckaba. Grabowski has only lost one decision in his 16-fight career and is a heavy favorite at 5Dimes as the -460 favorite.
Dave Huckaba has won his last six fights, five by KO, and could be a surprise upset if he can find the chin of Grabowski. Huckaba will pay generous MMA odds of +320 for the upset if he’s ready for the step up in competition.
The other Welterweight fight on the Bellator 67 fight card is between Canadian Ryan Ford and Brazilian Luis Santos. Ford is a rising star but he’s likely not ready for an opponent the level of Santos. At only +130 at 5Dimes, the Ford upset should be worth a little more; Santos looks to be currently handicapped at a bargain at -170.
