Bellator 82 MMA odds are now available on the Welterweight Tournament final and three other main card fights at the sportsbooks for this week's Season 7 event.
Headlining Friday’s event is the Bellator Welterweight final between veteran Lyman Good and undefeated top prospect Andrey Koreshkov. This fight is closely handicapped with sportsbooks like 5Dimes currently listing it at even odds of -120 on both fighters.
Good is considered to be one of the top Welterweights in the Bellator Fighting Championships, having only lost to current champ Ben Askren in Season 1 and coming up with a close split decision against Rick Hawn in the Season 4 semifinal. Koreshkov is an undefeated prospect who has finished all but one of his dozen fights.
In other Welterweight action David Rickels will be looking to rebound from his first professional loss with a win over Jason Fischer at Bellator 82. Currently handicapped as a heavy MMA odds -290 favorite, Rickels’ Muay Thai skills are expected to be too much for Fischer to handle on Friday night.
Fischer is undefeated in four pro fights but will be taking a big step up in competition against Rickels. Stranger upsets have happened, and we’ll be getting a good look at how good Fischer really is in this matchup. The upset option on Fischer is currently at +210 at 5Dimes, but it looks like a big risk.
Bellator 82 will also feature the MMA return of Kala Hose. He stayed away from the cage for two years following four losses in five fights but now returns to face Doug Marshall. Marshall has had some big moments as the former WEC Light Heavyweight champion, but like his opponent has lost his last three fights.
Oddsmakers at 5Dimes have this one handicapped closely with Marshall currently a slight -125 favorite while Hose would pay -115. This bout could go either way, but Marshall should be the more motivated fighter and gets the nod to come out on top on Friday night.
