Bellator odds are available for this week's Bellator 88 fight card that features four Featherweight tournament quarterfinal matchups and a title fight for the vacant Bellator Middleweight championship.
In the headliner two former Middleweight tournament winners will face off for Bellator gold when Alexander Shlemenko steps into the cage to face Maiquel Falcao. Oddsmakers at have Shlemenko handicapped as a big Bellator odds -325 favorite, while a Falcao win will pay as much as +265 at 5Dimes.
Action has steadily driven the price on Shlemenko up from the initial -210 offering, likely due to his superior technical skills and fight experience. As long as he stays off his back the Russian should be able to wear down Falcao for a dominant performance.
Akop Stepanyan is currently a big MMA odds +315 underdog at 5Dimes against former Bellator Featherweight tournament finalist Marlon Sandro. Sandro is expected to be too much on the ground for the one-dimensional Stepanyan and should be a good option at the 5Dimes MMA odds price of -380.
Stepanyan’s best chance to win the fight will be to keep the bout standing and utilize his elite striking skills for a KO win. There isn’t a ton of value in the upset but he does have the skills to finish the fight at any time.
Mike Richman and Mitch Jackson will have opposite gameplans when they meet in their Featherweight tournament matchup. Jackson will be looking to get the action to the mat where he can wear down Richman for either a KO or a submission win. If he does the upset will pay Bellator odds of +250 at 5Dimes.
Richman will want to keep the fight standing where he will hold an edge. Oddsmakers at are currently offering the Richman win with a -300 price, mainly because he has a big edge in the striking department.
