Velasquez vs dos Santos and SRC 15 Odds
New UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez is the odds on favorite in the yet unscheduled title match and how can he not be after he laid a serious beat down on Brock Lesnar?
He used his power and quickness to take down the bearded champ and he barely broke a sweat doing it.
Junior dos Santos is no pushover with a 12-1 record, 11 wins coming by the big finish, but oddsmakers think since he is not a great wrestler that is will be his downfall in this fight. Velasquez has the potential to school him in the art of tasting the mat and he will not show a letdown after taking down the “The Baddest Man on the Planet” in his last fight.
Bovada already has odds for this bout with Cain Velasquez at -200
Junio Dos Santos at +160.
SRC 15 Preview
In the Land of the Rising Sun on Saturday night the Sengoku Raiden Championships 15 will take place with the feature bout being Olympic Judo silver medalist Hiroshi Izumi facing Cage Rage and UFC veteran James Zikic in a light heavyweight bout. Not many know much about the MMA scene in Japan and there are not a lot of big names on the card, but you have to check out the action, as it is intense.

Oddsmakers have the Izumi vs. Zikic fight at dead even and after losing his MMA debut Izumi has come back with two legitimate wins. Zikic is your typical British boxer with solid submission skills, but against good competition he has been schooled. Zikic has the major reach advantage, but he will be taken down by Izumi’s judo skills and lose this fight.
Bovada has this fight at dead even with both fighters posted at -115.
Kazunori Yokota (11-3-3) vs. Brian Cobb (15-5)
This is a sweet Lightweight bout and Cobb is the big underdog with Bovada having him at +350 and Yokota at -550. Cobb has the advantage on his feet and in situations of top-control, but Yokota is a master of scoring points and really frustrating his opponents. Yokota is a great grappler and he will win this bout no problem.
Other solid fights on the card are a couple of Welterweight GP Semifinal bouts in Keita Nakamura (19-4-2) vs. Takuya Wada (20-8-10) and Yasubey Enomoto (5-1) vs. Taisuke Okuno (10-4-2). Nakamura opened some eyes with his win in the first round against Omar de la Cruz.
He is a much better grappler and will get Wada on the ground and that will be it. Okuno fights like a madman and always goes for the quick KO with his barrage of lethal punches. Enomoto is a much better technical fighter and he that will be the key in this match, as he will be able to beat a one-punch fighter Okuna in this bout.
The odds for these bouts at Bovada are Keita Nakamura at -270 with Takuya Wada at +210 and Yasubey Enomoto at -240 with Taisuke Okuno at +190.
Here are the other fights on the SRC 15 card and their odds at Bovada.
