MMA Betting Odds: TUF Finale

Another season of The Ultimate Fighter wraps up this weekend, with the final showdown between Team Lesnar and Team dos Santos.

The matchup for the TUF finale will be determined Wednesday night in the semifinals; the semifinal matchups are Chris Cope vs. Ramsey Nijem, and Tony Ferguson vs. Chuck O'Neil. Cope has won both his fights by unanimous decision so far, while Nijem has won both his bouts by submission.

Ferguson has dominated in both his fights with first-round knockouts, while O'Neil won by submission in his first bout and by unanimous decision in the quarterfinals.

Headlining the main card for the finale is a Lightweight bout between former MMA champions Clay Guida and Anthony Pettis.  At 5Dimes Pettis is a -165 favorite in the bout, while Guida is a +145 underdog.

Guida (28-11, 15 wins by submission) is a former Strikeforce Lightweight champion and last fought at UFC 125 in January. That night he defeated Takanori Gomi by submission via guillotine choke.  Pettis (13-3, five wins by KO) will be making his UFC debut after previously fighting in the WEC.

He last fought at WEC 53 in December where he won the WEC Lightweight championship after defeating Ben Henderson by unanimous decision.

Also on the main card is a Light Heavyweight bout between Kyle Kingsbury and Fabio Maldonado. Kingsbury (10-2, four wins by KO) last fought at UFC 126 in February where he defeated Ricardo Romero by TKO just 21 seconds into the first round. Maldonado (18-3, 12 wins by KO) has won his last 11 fights and only one of those bouts went the distance with seven wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 120 in October and defeated James McSweeney by TKO.

The last fight on the TUF 13 finale fight card is a redemption fight between middleweights Ed Herman (19-7, 12 wins by submission) and Tim Credeur (12-3, eight wins by submission). Neither fighter has fought since 2009 due to numerous injuries.

Herman's last fight was a TKO loss to Aaron Simpson at UFC 102. He suffered a severe knee injury during the bout and hasn't been able to fight since. Credeur's last bout was a unanimous decision loss to Nate Quarry at UFC Fight Night 19. Since that fight he has been forced off two cards due to injury and an abnormal brain scan.
