UFC odds are available on two separate fight cards this week as The Ultimate Fighter shows wrap up in both the United States and Australia.
First on Friday night UFC on FX 6 will feature action from Down Under as George Sotiropoulos meets fellow coach Ross Pearson and Hector Lombard faces grappling specialist Rousimar Palhares.
Sotiropoulos will be looking to get back into the mix after more than a year out of the Octagon, while Pearson is coming off his first KO loss in the Octagon and will need a win on Friday night to get back on track. Oddsmakers at 5Dimes have the fight closely handicapped with Pearson currently a slight +105 underdog with Sotiropoulos coming with an MMA betting price of -125.
The co-main event of the UFC on FX 6 fight card will feature Middleweight action between UFC veteran Rousimar Palhares and newcomer Hector Lombard. Lombard is currently the 5Dimes -210 UFC odds favorite, but considering Lombard’s UFC debut the +175 underdog option on Palhares looks like the far better option.
Matt Mitrione has stepped in to replace Shane Carwin in the main event of the Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale fight card. A talented kick-boxer, Mitrione will likely be too one-dimensional for the well-rounded skills of Roy Nelson.
In the Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale Mike Ricci will be a heavy favorite to win the show over U.S. military member Colton Smith. Expect Ricci to have his way with his opponent as long as he’s smart enough to stay out of a wrestling match.
Also on the Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale fight card will be a Heavyweight battle between Pat Barry and Shane Del Rosario. These two promise to throw heavy leather, which should produce an early KO victory for one of them.
