UFC 127 Betting Results

UFC 127 was supposed to answer the question of who was the No. 1 contender in the Welterweight division, but instead it left everyone asking more questions about Jon Fitch and B.J. Penn.

In a highly technical battle the two fought to a majority draw and the only winner in the main event of UFC 127 was the sportsbooks and bettors who beat the UFC 127 odds.

Sportsbook.ag had the best price of -280 on the favorite Michael Bisping to beat Jorge Rivera. Once again the Brit displayed his striking skills against an inferior opponent, gaining a second-round TKO victory only to display his lack of social skills in a spitting incident after the fight.

Fighting at home to get into contention for a title shot was Australian grappler George Sotiropoulos. Heavily favored to beat German striker Dennis Siver, Sotiropoulos was stuffed in his takedown attempts and forced to stand and fight the skilled kick boxer.

Siver was dominant in the stand-up battle and earned an underdog victory. The biggest payout on the Siver upset was a +325 line at Bovada.
