UFC 128 Betting Results

If your bread and butter action is betting on MMA safe-money favorites, you have a new stud to add to your stable. Jon Jones is the new UFC Light Heavyweight champion after dishing out a giant-sized portion of beatdown to Mauricio Rua at UFC 128.

The dominant performance has made a believer out of everyone that Jones is something special, and it’s going to be a long time before we ever see a -185 favorite line at Bovada on Jones again. From now on we will have to invest to take advantage of Jones’ evolved fight game.

Urijah Faber got off to a slow start against Eddie Wineland but was able to get things turned around for a unanimous decision victory. Faber paid -500 at Sportsbook.ag and looked like the Urijah of old, taking down Wineland at will in the second and third round. The win likely sets up a Bantamweight title fight against Dominick Cruz.

Nate Marquardt was safe money at -300 at 5Dimes against Dan Miller. Marquardt controlled the entire fight and beat Miller both on the ground and when the two decided to strike. “Nate the Great” got the unanimous decision and remains in the mix in the Middleweight division.
