MMA betting odds for the final UFC pay-per-view event of 2012 showcase a matchup between the top Heavyweights in the UFC in the Main Event.
UFC 155: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos will feature a rematch that is expected to deliver in a different way than it did the first time.
In that fight Dos Santos made quick work of Velasquez with a first-round KO, and this time around oddsmakers at 5Dimes are offering a -160 price on Dos Santos to retain his title and prove that the first fight was not a lucky shot.
Velasquez has rebounded from his title loss with an impressive thrashing of Antonio Silva in his last fight, and he is now intent on regaining the title he lost to Dos Santos last year.
Oddsmakers at are offering +145 odds on the Velasquez upset, while Dos Santos action comes at a -160 UFC odds price at 5Dimes.
The fight will come down to whether or not Velasquez can weather the initial storm that the champ is sure to bring in the first round. Keys to victory for Velasquez will be to get the fight to the ground and utilize his wrestling to control Dos Santos.
Moneyline action is also available on a Middleweight contender bout between two of the top-ranked fighters in the division. Alan Belcher will face Yushin Okami in a rematch of their first meeting that took place back in 2006. Both men are looking to get into a title-shot position with an impressive win at UFC 155.
Okami won their first meeting by unanimous decision and is currently handicapped as the -130 favorite at 5Dimes. He will have a tougher time of things against Belcher at UFC 155 and will need to use takedowns and ground control to win the fight.
Belcher is currently coming with a +110 payday at 5Dimes and looks like a good upset option considering his recent improvement.
