UFC 174 Betting: Johnson vs. Bagautinov
Pay-per-view UFC betting action returns this weekend when UFC Flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson puts his title on the line at UFC 174. MMA odds are already available on the main event as well as the Welterweight top-contender co-main event between Tyron Woodley and Rory MacDonald.
In total lines are up on all 11 fights, plus there are a ton of prop bets to choose from at 5Dimes.
Demetrious Johnson seems to improve every time we see him in the Octagon, and for that reason handicappers at Bovada currently have him listed as the heavy UFC 174 odds -600 favorite. Some better value may be found in the 5Dimes prop options that are offering a -160 option on the fight going the distance or a -120 option on Johnson wins via decision.
Action on the Bagautinov upset will currently pay UFC 174 odds of +450 at 5Dimes, but one might as well opt for the big payday of Bagautinov wins inside the distance at +730 if they like the upset possibility.
In the UFC 174 co-main event Rory MacDonald was initially handicapped as the -165 favorite on the betting lines but has slowly dropped down to the current +120 underdog. Woodley is now the 5Dimes -140 favorite, and an even better price of +250 on Woodley inside the distance can be found in the 5Dimes props.
We prefer the UFC betting lines +195 option on MacDonald wins via decision, especially when it’s combined with the -180 option on fight goes to decision and the -205 OVER 2.5 rounds option for a parlay trio.
Former UFC Heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski (+115) will find himself back in the Octagon against Brendan Schaub (-135) in what promises to be a violent striking battle. Best options available on this fight include the -185 on fight doesn’t go to decision, the +230 option on Arlovski wins inside the distance, and the UNDER 1.5 rounds at +115.
