UFC 177 Betting: Dillashaw faces Barao

UFC pay-per-view action is lined up for this Saturday's UFC 177 headlined by the highly-anticipated rematch between Renan Barao and UFC Bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw.

The fight card will also include a Welterweight matchup from the cancelled UFC 176 fight card between Tony Ferguson and Danny Castillo, plus the third UFC outing for undefeated Female Bantamweight prospect Bethe Correia.

Dillashaw beat a massive +765 UFC odds price at Bovada to become the UFC Bantamweight champion at UFC 173. In this weekend’s rematch he is currently listed as the 5Dimes -150 favorite on the UFC 177 betting lines to retain his title and cement his place as one of the elite fighters in the sport.

Barao was completely dominated in the first fight and will need a new approach to pay out on the 5Dimes UFC 177 odds of +130. That payday looks a little slim to us considering he had no answer for the hand speed and footwork of Dillashaw. In fairness to Barao, he was cranked in the first round and has said he has no memory of the rest of the fight, so he was basically in a fog.

There are 29 prop bet options at 5Dimes offer an array of value options like the +165 that Dillashaw wins via decision.

The UFC 177 co-main event between Ferguson and Castillo is currently handicapped with Ferguson as the -245 favorite and Castillo as the +205 underdog. UFC 177 props at 5Dimes that stick out of the 19 available include the +115 that fight goes to a decision and the +245 that Ferguson wins by decision.

Undefeated Bantamweight prospect Bethe Correia has won seven of her eight fights via decision and is handicapped as the -140 favorite on the UFC 177 betting lines to beat Shayna Baszler. That price looks like a bargain considering she should be technically advanced over her opponent in both striking and grappling.

The 5Dimes prop bet that makes the most sense in this fight is the +140 that Correia wins by decision. Combine that bet with the -245 OVER 2.5 rounds and the -205 that fight goes to a decision for a parlay opportunity on the most plausible outcome to the fight.
