UFC Betting: Henderson vs. Thomson
A full card of MMA betting action is lined up for this weekend with the UFC on Fox 10 show set for Saturday night. Headlining the event will be a top contender matchup between two of the best in the Lightweight division. UFC odds are available on all eleven fights including some great prop options.
In the main event former champion Benson Henderson is currently a -280 favorite at 5Dimes over Josh Thomson. This fight will be a fast-paced technical battle that should go the distance. Thomson’s five career losses have been against high-paced fighters who put constant pressure on their opponents. Henderson brings exactly that, and should cruise to a decision win.
If you like Thomson, the +240 underdog option on him to win isn’t as tempting as the +500 on him to win via decision. The bets that have our attention the most in this fight are the -195 on the fight going OVER the 4.5-round mark and the -180 on the fight going to decision.
The co-main event of the UFC on Fox 10 fight card will feature two Heavyweight fighters looking to climb the rankings. Gabriel Gonzaga is currently an MMA odds +200 underdog against Stipe Miocic. The 34-year-old Gonzaga will need to utilize his jiu-jitsu skills against an opponent with an NCAA Division 1 wrestling and Golden Gloves boxing pedigree.
Expect fireworks early on in this fight as these two fighters will be looking to win impressively in order to take the next step up in the division. The -185 UNDER 1.5 rounds looks to have the most value out of the 20 prop odds options at 5Dimes. Combine that bet with Miocic wins by TKO at -125 and the -240 on Miocic to win for parlay.
Donald Cerrone is coming at a good price of -185 at 5Dimes against Adriano Martins, who will pay +155 for the upset. Cerrone will have a huge edge in the stand-up portion of the fight and should be able to stuff Martins’ takedown attempts.
