UFC Fight Night Betting: Mir vs Duffee

Following one of the biggest pay-per-view cards in UFC history, UFC Fight Night 71 odds promise to deliver a bunch of interesting MMA betting options. The event will be headlined by an interesting Heavyweight matchup between former UFC Heavyweight champion Frank Mir and the explosive Todd Duffee.

Mir is a +155 underdog at Bovada to beat Duffee, who is a -190 favorite. Duffee has shown signs of brilliance in the past, but if he’s tested on the ground in any way Mir could easily slap on one of his submissions for the win. Duffee will come out strong in the first and will likely need the early KO to come out victorious at UFC Fight Night 71.

In the co-main event former The Ultimate Fighter winner Tony Ferguson will look to move one step closer to his Lightweight title shot with a win over Josh Thomson. Current UFC odds at Bovada have Ferguson handicapped as the -190 favorite, a bargain when one considers how he looked in his last four fights.

We expect a Ferguson finish, likely via rear-naked choke following a striking beatdown of Thomson. The +155 upset option on Thomson does not have enough payday to bet against Ferguson in our opinion.

Former World champion boxer and undefeated MMA fighter Holly Holm will make her second appearance in the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 71 when she faces the surging Marion Reneau. Current MMA odds on this fight at Bovada have Holm handicapped as the -210 favorite while the Reneau upset will pay +170.

We expect Holm to use her footwork to keep the fight standing where she will slowly dismantle her opponent until she records the KO/TKO victory.
