UFC on FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot Odds
Saturday Night fights will continue for the third straight week with UFC on FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot, and MMA betting action is already available on three of the bouts.
In the main event Travis Browne looks to get one step closer to a title shot with a win over Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva. The undefeated contender fights out of Greg Jackson’s Submission Fighting and should be well prepared for his televised main event debut.
Browne is currently a -225 favorite at Bovada to take out Silva and make his mark as one of the true contenders in the division. All he has to do is stay out of Bigfoot’s grasp and he should be able to strike Silva virtually at will.
Silva has had problems against technical strikers in the past and will need to get this fight to the ground for a chance of paying off on the +190 underdog option at 5Dimes. If he can gain a favorable position on the ground he has lethal ground-and-pound skills that can finish any Heavyweight in the division.
Jay Hieron has been one of the best Welterweight fighters in the world over the last five years, compiling a record of 11-1 over that time. Now he finally gets a shot in the UFC, but unfortunately it’s against one of the toughest in the division. If his striking is technical enough he could pay out on the +300 option currently at 5Dimes.
Jake Ellenberger will be looking to rebound from his fight KO loss as the -360 favorite at 5Dimes. He will look to get his hands on Hieron and punish him with control and dirty boxing. As long he doesn’t get caught with a power shot he should be able to wear down Hieron for the win.
