UFC Sanchez vs. Kampmann Betting Preview
If you like MMA odds on fights that are so close they are like pick-em bets, then the UFC on Versus card this week will have a few bets for you to choose from.
Martin Kampmann won’t have to worry about his fight turning into a nightmare this Thursday night now that Diego Sanchez has officially changed his nickname to “The Dream.”
What Kampmann will have to worry about as the Bovada -150 MMA odds favorite is a desperate 5Dimes +130 underdog Sanchez who knows his days will be numbered in the UFC if he doesn’t string together some victories soon.

When Sanchez won the Ultimate Fighter Middleweight contest, and then went on to run off five straight Octagon wins, most MMA experts expected that he would someday become a UFC champion. But the road to the title has been a battle for Sanchez, and now on what could be his final run at a title he finds himself pitted against an ultra-tough Kampmann.
As the lines indicate this fight could go either way. We think that Kampmann should be able to dominate the smaller Sanchez and will either get a submission win late in the fight or a decision victory. One thing is for sure, it will be a war that will test the will of both fighters.
The Mark Mounoz vs. C.B. Dollaway fight looks like the best opportunity for an underdog payout on the UFC fight card. Munoz will be the favorite and the cheapest line is only -185 at Sportsbook.ag. A Dollaway upset is best priced at Sports Interaction where the line sits at +162.
Dollaway looked much improved in his last fight and may have evolved more than the books think. If he can defend against the takedown he will have a chance to wear down Munoz and either stop him in the later part of the fight or win via decision. Look for the Dollaway upset to pay out in this one.
The other fight that the books have close is the Thiago Tavares vs. Shane Roller matchup. This fight looks so evenly matched that 5Dimes is offering MMA odds of -110 on both fighters. If you like Tavares in this one you can get a +100 price on him at Bovada.
But we don’t recommend that you bet on Tavares, who has only been able to beat three of his last seven opponents. Roller will be making his Octagon debut, and his three-time All-American wrestling pedigree should be enough to beat Tavares.
