Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale Betting Odds

The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale is set to go down on Sunday and Bovada has action on the entire nine-fight card. Headlining will be the first main event for former kickboxing champion Stephen Thomson as he faces the hard-hitting aggression of Jake Ellenberger.

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson has compiled a four-fight win streak and looks poised to reach the upper echelon of the UFC Welterweight division. He will be taking a step up in competition when he steps into the Octagon against Ellenberger, but oddsmakers at Bovada have him handicapped as the -200 favorite. Action on the Ellenberger upset will pay +160.

That line on Thompson looks like a real bargain. Thompson should have no problem dominating the fight when they are standing, and his ever-improving takedown defense and wrestling should be enough to eliminate Ellenberger’s chances of turning the fight into a grappling match.

The co-main event will feature Jorge Masvidal in his attempt to get back to his winning ways when he steps into the Octagon against Cezar Ferreira at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale. MMA odds at Bovada are offering a -275 price on Masvidal while a Ferreira upset will be worth +215.

Having been knocked out in three of his last seven fights, Ferreira does not appear to be a good option for the upset. Surprisingly, initial lines on this fight had him handicapped as the MMA odds -270 favorite, but steady action has driven that price all the way down, turning him into an underdog.

If you’re looking for some The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale odds that are a little closer, the Darrell Montague vs. Willie Gates matchup might work. UFC odds at Bovada have Montague handicapped as the slim -130 favorite, while action on Gates will pay EVEN odds.
