Will Brock Lesnar Fight in the UFC Again? You Can Bet on It

Brock Lesnar stormed into UFC 200, took care of business and then promptly went on back to the WWE. However, the speculation about Lesnar’s return to the Octagon is already running rampant.

Online book, Bovada has posted odds as to whether ‘The Beast’ will make his return before the end of the year. Brock fighting for the UFC before the end of 2016 is listed at +140 with ‘No’ coming back at -200.

Lesnar first needs to complete his obligation to the WWE, which is his planned match with Randy Orton at Summerslam. Summerslam does not take place until August 21, which means that Brock will likely be away from any active MMA training until at least September.

That is all also assuming that the WWE allows Brock to go back to the UFC. Lesnar is still under contract with the WWE and had to ask permission to appear at UFC 200. As much as Lesnar says he can do whatever he wants to do, contractual obligation is a pretty convincing argument.

You also need to try and determine when an opponent for Brock would be ready to fight. After just one fight, Lensar has vaulted himself into the top 10 in the UFC’s thin heavyweight division. Lesnar will likely need an opponent within the top 10 that he can conceivably beat – he is worth much more to both the UFC and WWE if he’s winning.
