Week 6 was great for dog bettors

It started early, those underdogs handing the NFL favorites their asses on platters Sunday. And it continued right through Monday night when the hometown Browns beat the Giants as 7.5-point underdogs.

Let’s look ahead to what all this underdog action means to thew Week 7 opening odds in the NFL. Remember that knowing when to bet is as important as whom to bet on.

Cleveland @ Washington -10

The Redskins lost at home to the Rams on Sunday and failed to cover the big spread. The Browns shocked the Giants, beating them 35-24 on Monday night. The Browns have played a killer schedule and they may be better than their record.

Because of this the line may go down, so if you want to bet on the Browns, bet early, and if you want to take the Skins wait it out. The Redskins might be worse than we think and the Browns might be better. {URL=}Live NFL Odds{/URL}

San Diego PK @ Buffalo

San Diego finally looked like the team they were last year in crushing New England 30-10. The Bills had a bye week and in the previous week were schooled by the Cardinals.

The Chargers may have woken up and the Bills may be not be as good as their record shows, as in their 4 wins the only decent team they beat was Jacksonville while the others were Oakland, Seattle, and St. Louis. This is a pick em’ game, but the line may favor the Chargers later in the week.

If you want to lay some green on the Bills you may want to wait, but if you want to bet on the Bolts you should act now and take the current line. Watch the QB situation in Buffalo, which will impact line moves this week. {URL=}Live NFL Odds{/URL}

Dallas -7 @ St. Louis

Dallas lost to the Cardinals in their last game 30-24 while the Rams beat Washington in DC 19-17. Tony Romo has a broken pinky and backup Brad Johnson will start for the Cowboys. The line may go down, as the Cowboys have not looked themselves the last 3 games – including two losses - and now their leader is out.

Take the line now if you want to bet on the Rams, but wait if you want to bet on America’s team. {URL=}Live NFL Odds{/URL}
