What's New: NCAAF Week 2

As we kick off Week 2 of the NCAAF, OddsShark has everything you need. Some games we’re highlighting this week are Oklahoma vs. Ohio State and Stanford vs. USC.

Oklahoma will be looking for revenge but they’ll be heading to Columbus as underdogs due to Ohio State playing at home and last season’s win, they’re 7.5 point favorites on Saturday. Stanford has held the edge in this inter-state rivalry, as they have won seven of the past nine against USC, despite this, and their great showing in their season opener, Stanford enters this game as a 7-point underdog.

After Week 1 in the NCAAF, championship futures changed pretty quickly for Florida State. Starting quarterback Deondre Francois is out for the season after tearing his patellar tendon… yikes. FSU’s odds went from +750 in Week 1 to +2500 in Week 2, something Justin Hartling things is being generous, see his futures article here.

Week 2 Heisman Trophy odds also saw some major changes. No, Lamar Jackson didn’t get hurt and no Lamar Jackson didn’t fall out of top spot. BUT, Quarterback Josh Rosen out of UCLA made a plea for why he should take the award. Rosen started Week 1 with odds sitting at +2500, fast forward to Week 2 and he’s currently +800, leapfrogging 11 players. How’d he do it you ask? Well, in the 4th quarter of his game against Texas A&M, down 34 points, Rosen threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions. Impressive work, but will he continue to climb the leaderboards or did we see Rosen have his Heisman moment?
