What's New: NFL, we've been waiting for you

Well, it’s not September yet but tonight is the NFL Hall of Fame game and that means football is back.

The Cowboys opened as 1-point favorites over the Arizona Cardinals, and the total opened at 35. We know the NFL preseason can be tough to handicap, but some historic numbers might be helpful if you're looking to predict tonight’s game or get in some Hall-of-Fame Game wagers.

OddsShark's Joe Osborne took a look at recent Hall-of-Fame games to come up with some possible trends.

Osborne noticed that neither team's coach is great in preseason action writing, "... winning games appears to be very low on the list of priorities for Cowboys’ head coach Jason Garrett as the Cowboys are on a 2-11 SU in the preseason. Bruce Arians has also come out on the losing side more often than not, but not at the same rate as Garrett. Arians is 7-9 SU in his career in the preseason."
