Tulane vs Southern Methodist Recap - Mustangs Win 45-24

Orleans Darkwa rushed for 46 yards for Tulane, while Robert Kelley added 34 yards. Ryan Griffin threw for 214 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Wilson Van Hooser and Justyn Shackleford had 66 and 65 yards respectively.

Tulane was outgained by Southern Methodist 453-271 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-16 by the Mustangs.

Tulane lost the time of possession battle 33:34/26:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Southern Methodist takes its act home to face Navy looking for another win. For Tulane, they head home to face Houston.
