Minnesota turns it on over Air Force

The Minnesota Golden Gophers exploded for 17 points in the fourth quarter to knock off the Air Force Falcons 20-13 at TCF Bank Stadium in Week 2.

Minnesota covered as a 3-point home favorite while the final score played under the 5-point total.

The Gophers were led by QB Adam Weber, who passed for 219 yards. Most of those receptions were reeled in by WR Eric Decker, who totaled 113 yards receiving.

The Falcons got 135 yards passing from QB Tim Jefferson, who totaled one touchdown. Running back Asher Clark rushed for 90 yards in the loss.
