Buckeyes leave it late against Penn State

The No.1 Ohio State Buckeyes needed a 21-point fourth quarter to separate themselves from No.24 Penn State, beating their Big Ten rivals 28-6 at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

Ohio State covered the 17-point spread at home, but the 34 points scored was UNDER the posted total of 43.5.

Troy Smith was 12-for-22 for 115 yards, one score, and two interceptions, while Antonio Pittman gained 108 yards on 20 carries and a major for the Buckeyes.

Anthony Morelli went 16-for-25 for 106 yards and three big interceptions. Tony Hunt had 135 rushing yards on 24 attempts for the Nittany Lions.
