Broncos key on Wolfe in win

The Western Michigan Broncos held NCCA rushing leader Garrett Wolfe to 27 rushing yards and allowed only 150 total yards in a 16-14 win over Northern Illinois at Waldo Stadium on Saturday.

Ryan Cubit was 29-for-44 for 255 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while Mark Bonds ran 32 times for 97 yards for the Broncos in the victory.

Phil Horvath threw three interceptions and only one touchdown to go with 157 yards in a 14-for-25 day. Britt Davis caught seven passes for 89 yards and a major for the Huskies.
