Huskies have no trouble with Vandals

The Washington Huskies scored 17 points in both the second and third quarters Saturday en route to a 34-6 win over the visiting Idaho Vandals.

The Huskies easily covered the 13.5-point spread on this day, while the combined score fell UNDER the posted total (57.5).

Huskies QB Isaiah Stanback went 9-of-16 for 142 yards, throwing one touchdown pass and one interception in the win. Stanback, James Sims Jr., and Louis Rankin each ran for Washington scores, and Johnie Kirton picked up a receiving touchdown.

Steven Wichman went 19-of-28 for 194 yards for Idaho, and was intercepted twice. Mike Barrow booted two field goals to account for all of the Vandals’ points.
