Temple continue streak of futility

The Temple Owls were destroyed 62-0 for the second consecutive week, this time by the Minnesota Golden Gophers, at the Metrodome on Saturday.

Minnesota did more than enough to cover the 41.5-point spread at home, and the 62 points scored were OVER the posted total of 54.

Bryan Cupito was 9-for-11 for 152 yards and four touchdowns, and Logan Payne was on the receiving end of those scores, finishing with six catches for 136 yards.

Vaughn Charlton went 13-for-23 for 63 yards and an interception for Temple, who have yet to score a touchdown this season. Jason Harper had 17 touches for 77 yards for the Owls.
