Blue Raiders upset Commodores

The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders knocked off the Vanderbilt Commodores 17-15, blocking a potential game-winning field goal on the last play of the game on Saturday.

The previously unbeaten Commodores were favored by 14 points at home but were defeated by the previously winless Blue Raiders. The combined total of 32 points was UNDER the listed over/under mark posted at 46.

Raiders' QB Clint Marks rushed for one touchdown and completed 14-of-22 passing attempts for 150 yards and no interceptions. RB Eugene Gross rushed for 74 yards and one TD on 17 carries.

Commodores' QB Jay Cutler finished 25-of-42 for 240 yards and one TD and threw one interception. WR Erik Davis hauled in eight receptions for 101 yards and one TD.

Middle Tennessee St. improves to 1-4 this season, while Vanderbilt falls to 4-1.
