Whitehurst finished the game completing 20-of-31 passes for 260 yards and was picked off once in the victory. James Davis rushed for a pair of touchdowns, and Chansi Stuckey made nine catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns.

The Seminoles only touchdown came on a Cole Chason blocked punt. Gary Cismesia kicked two 47-yard field goals, and Drew Weatherford passed for 117 yards and was picked off twice in the loss.
