With Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fast approaching the online sportsbooks have been seeing a huge betting volume on the much-anticipated fight. The bout is set for Saturday, May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Kevin Bradley, Sportsbook Manager at Sportsbook, spoke to OddsShark.com about Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, saying that since he has been in the business no bout "has come close to the amount we have taken already on the fight, and there is no doubt it will be the biggest ever just hard to tell how big since there has not been a fight of this magnitude in ages"

As of April 20 Mayweather was a -210 favorite for the fight over the +170 Pacquiao, and Bradley noted that "we are seeing a pretty even 50/50 split of money, but with Pacquiao paying out almost 2/1 the risk is growing on him and no question we will need Mayweather."
Bradley also said that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao props would go a long way in determining how the sportsbook does on the fight, noting that "ideally we will need Mayweather by decision which is currently priced at -140. A first-round knockout by Manny would be a disaster."
