Uncle Mo Kentucky Derby favorite

A trio of New York horses lead the early odds to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby with Uncle Mo leading the way.

The Breeders' Cup juvenile Sportsbook seems to have his mojo and bettors like what they have seen in the son of 1998 Derby favorite Indian Charlie. Racebook managers are reading carefully, Sportsbook him as 4/1 favorites a full five months ahead of the Churchill Downs run.

Todd Pletcher will train the horse, who arrived in Florida two weeks before Christmas to begin workouts in the run-up to the Derby prep schedule.
