CFL Betting Odds: Division Finals

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will try to take down the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the East Division Final in the early CFL betting matchup on Sunday.

It seems like insurmountable odds that Hamilton will win its second straight road game in the postseason to earn a berth in the Grey Cup. The Blue Bombers are listed at Sportsbook as a 3-point favorite at home for the East Division Final. The game’s total is set at 51.

Winnipeg has had a couple of weeks to heal ailing bodies and to make some adjustments in practice. The Blue Bombers also won all three head-to-head matchups this season with Hamilton, and they should see the majority of action on the CFL betting lines.

The Blue Bombers covered 8-point and 3.5-point spreads, while the teams PUSHED against a 3-point spread in the lone head-to-head contest in Winnipeg this season.  The last five meetings between these teams in Winnipeg have sent OVER bettors to the payout window in totals betting.

Later on Sunday it’s the British Columbia Lions as a 6-point spread favorite at Sportsbook when the Edmonton Eskimos visit town for the West Division Final CFL betting matchup. The game’s total is set at 49.5.

Both teams had identical 11-7 records, but B.C. won the season-series 3-1 to earn a bye and a home playoff date. Edmonton defeated Calgary 33-19 last weekend to get to Sunday's game, but the Lions are roaring into the playoffs.

The Eskimos won the season-opener between these teams, but that’s before the Lions ripped through opponents to win nine of their last 11 games including three straight over Edmonton.

The Lions also managed to cover the spread in all three victories over the Eskimos, and they should see a ton of action on the CFL betting lines as a home favorite this weekend at Sportsbook.
