Winnipeg (9-5) sits in a tie in the East with Montreal and wants to keep pace when they take on the Edmonton Eskimos (8-6), who are knotted in a three-way logjam in the West, in a Saturday CFL betting matchup at Sportsbook.
The Blue Bombers knocked off the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-17 as a 3.5-point road underdog last week after dropping two straight. Edmonton also snapped a two-game skid with a 17-1 win over the sinking Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Hamilton (7-7) will try and cement the final CFL playoff berth with a victory over the Montreal Alouettes (9-5) in early CFL betting action on Sunday at Sportsbook. Montreal will be favorites when these two meet at Percival Molson Stadium.
Montreal is riding a three-game win streak, including a 29-19 win over Toronto last time out. The Alouettes haven’t been able to cover large point spreads in three of the last four outings. The Tiger-Cats have won two of three and covered the spread in two of the last three as well.
The final CFL betting matchup of Week 16 pits the roaring Lions (8-6) against the lowly Saskatchewan Roughriders (4-10) on Sunday night. B.C. has won seven straight and will be huge favorites in this contest at Sportsbook.
Saskatchewan has scored just nine points in three games and that should favor the UNDER bettor in totals betting.
